Unless I’m mistaken, this mayor has qualified immunity and will get away with these crimes just like law enforcement officers that are under a different set of laws and are not held criminally accountable for their crimes, and it’s condoned,and encouraged by the state government. I’m wondering why the state is not guilty of aiding and abetting the criminal activity of the percentage of law enforcement that has been proven to be guilty of crimes such as rights violations, unlawful detainment, unlawful arrest, crimes of violence up to and including death of citizens. These officers are not included in the number of quality officers we have. Qualified immunity needs to be abolished to prevent the double standard in being prosecuted for crimes.
